Achill Island ist bekannt u.A. für beeindruckende Klippen. Am Atlantic Drive, Teil des Wild Atlantic Way, können wir uns davon überzeugen. Besonders großartige Aussichten auf die Klippen, auf einen insgesamt spektakulären Küstenabschnitt, haben wir vom Atlantic Drive Viewpoint.
Achill Island is known for its impressive cliffs, among other things. On the Atlantic Drive, part of the Wild Atlantic Way, we can see this for ourselves. We have particularly great views of the cliffs, of an altogether spectacular stretch of coastline, from the Atlantic Drive Viewpoint.

Etwa drei Kilometer weiter westlich gibt es noch eine Steigerung. Die Ausblicke am Ashleam Bay Viewpoint sind sensationell. Hier bleiben wir über Nacht und genießen das Panorama auch noch beim Frühstück.
About three kilometres further west, there is even an increase. The views at Ashleam Bay Viewpoint are sensational. We stay here overnight and enjoy the panorama over breakfast, too.
