Nach fünf Tagen in Ushuaia, fast zwei Wochen in Feuerland, haben wir in mehreren Tagesetappen wieder das patagonische Festland in Chile erreicht. Auf dem Weg von Punta Delgada nach Punta Arenas fahren wir bei San Gregorio an der Magellanstraße (Estrecho de Magallanes) unter einem gespenstischen Himmel. Ähnliches haben wir schon ein paar mal in Patagonien gesehen, aber nicht in dieser dramatischen Ausprägung.
Ghostly clouds
After five days in Ushuaia, almost two weeks in Tierra del Fuego, we have reached the Patagonian mainland in Chile again in several daily stages. On the way from Punta Delgada to Punta Arenas we pass San Gregorio at the Strait of Magellan (Estrecho de Magallanes) under a ghostly sky. We have seen something similar a few times in Patagonia, but not to this dramatic extent.
